CEO of Deadly Science and 2020 NSW Young Australian of the Year succeeds Jas Chambers.

The NSW Government will direct $28 million into R&D and new industries and technology to better prepare the state for future bushfires.

The NSW Government today launched the Small Business Innovation & Research (SBIR) program, the first Priority Action from the Accelerating Research and Development in NSW Action Plan. The SBIR program will tackle important challenges including quantifying koala numbers and extent, increasing the resilience of regional communications networks and reducing PPE waste in the health system.

The Prizes reward leading researchers for cutting-edge work that has generated benefits for New South Wales.

Community members across New South Wales will have a range of exciting new opportunities to connect with scientists in all kinds of ways during National Science Week from 14-22 August 2021.

This year's series will be held at Fishburners, Level 2, Sydney Startup Hub.
